The Momma & I visited the Dunseths last night. We traveled to their place in Highland, MI. Pr Dunseth & I took a cigar-long walk in the cold. Then we returned to the domicile and ate soup & salad, before heading off to savor the fruit of the vine at a nearby town. (The more I taste Zinfandel, the more I like it.) Back to the Dunseths. Mrs D and your Mom had made sushi--yes, Icky Yucky Sushi which we ate with great delight with soy sauce and wasabe--yum.
Pastor Dunseth broke into his wine cellar and brought out a nice Pinot Noir, also known as Burgundy, when it is the gen-u-wine Frenchy stuff--which it was. Not the greatest with sushi, but the fact that he would share such a treasure with us was most heart-warming.
We did not stay up til 2 AM and we did not have a table filled with 18 open bottles of wine, as we enjoyed several years ago, but we most certainly did have a delightful time.
Back home this morning at about 10:30. We were shocked to see John out of bed!
Sounds like a jolly good time!
